Humans have always been enticed to explore. To venture into the deepest forest, to hike the highest mountain and to cross the driest desert. It is only recently, on an anthropological scale, that we started journeying deeper in the water. Almost three quarters of our earth is covered by oceans and Scuba diving holds the key to unlock these doors for the majority of individuals. All of our first regulator breaths in a natural environment were made with an anticipation to eventually swim with either dolphins, whales, sharks etc. We are now in the midst of what scientist call the 6th major biodiversity extinction in earth history. All propelled by the detrimental actions of man and no other environment is greatly affected than the oceans. From taking biopsies of the most endangered sharks in the world at Malpelo Island with Fins Attached, to tagging Blacktip sharks in the remote National Park of Cabo Pulmo with Pelagios Kakunja. Sherwood Scuba Marine Conservation is proudly supporting non-profits across the world and partaking in science based expeditions to prevent an environmental calamity from happening. We wish to assist at the major task that is upon us, which is to leave an ocean full of life and abundance for our future generations.
